About taking anti depression tablets for too long
I agreed to my father to visit a psychiatrist at last. I remember my last time visit to a psychiatrist was 5 years ago when I broke up with a girl in my college. That time the psychiatrist doubled the dose of the anti depression medicine that I was taking since a year. The first doctor prescribed me the anti depression tablet to the 20mg but I was taking 10mg by myself and everything was fine till the breakup. So I had to listen to the doctor as the 10mg wasn't working anymore. I had a concept about taking the medicines that I can’t stop when I want. But the concept changed today when I visited a doctor again after five years. Five years ago the Dr doubled the dose because I wasn’t taking the prescribed amount that was 20mg. Since then in five years I tried some experiments to lower the dose to check what the lowest amount I needed was. And till today I was taking 20mg for almost 2 years.
