Places where we need improvement
Train was 1h 33m late. I was carrying a pram in one hand and 2 bags in other when there was another side bag that was hanging from my solder. My wife Rinky was carrying our 6 month old baby Ridhaan and a ladies side bag.
Our compartment no was D1. At first I thought it will be in the front part of the train but later discovered that the compartment was at the end part.
I found it little difficult to walk faster with the luggage. My wife was walking in front of me at little distance.
When we reached almost the end, train started moving.
I told my wife to board in the train whatever coach it was. And I myself entered into the nearest coach. With the pram and luggage it was very difficult to enter through the gate.
Passengers who were standing at the gate didn't bother helping me with the luggage. Even didn't make me way to enter easily.
My wife also struggled to enter the running train with her hand bag and the baby. My wife told me that if she wasn't helped by a passenger at the gate then she couldn't make it. She also told me that she fears to get into a running train.
If the display board would give me proper information about the couch number then it would be lot easier for any passenger with luggage and baby.
Malda is not such a station where a train doesn't stop for minimum 10 minutes.
As the train was 1h 33m late so it didn't stop longer here.
The faults that I see:
1. The train should have stopped at Malda for atleast 10 to 15 minutes.
2. The announcements should be in clear voice in railway station.
3. Digital display board with train and coach number should have been changed in time.
4. There must be fixed boards with coach numbers. So that people will know where to stand from before.
