Dear Vanessa the curiosity bug
We
talked about many topics in about 15 days. Most of the topics I couldn’t give
you the as deep explanation as you wanted. As you know my lifestyle has changed
and I have no free time to myself. I rarely get only six hours to sleep now a
day. Even in weekends I work in the same ways like other days. Thank you for your patience
and understanding why I took long time to explain all of the leftover topics we
had.
Topic no 1: “What were you researching?”
As you
know I am also a curiosity bug like you. So whenever I hear about something
knew then I start researching about it. And I go so deep that even I spend
hours and days after it to feed my hunger of knowledge. Recently one of my VFX
students wrote one story and script on ghost and as a team we are going to film
it as a short story. That’s why we were looking for a haunted looking house
around us. During the discussion the curious student who wrote the story
revealed his interest in ghost, sprite and paranormal activity like things. He
even told he got some devices by which he could detect any extra field of
energy. And he was giving us class on it. I truly don’t believe in such stories
normally. But the theories he gave were strong and lots of YouTubers made videos
on it. Even Wikipedia pages told about it. That’s why I was researching on it.
Topic no 2: “Why didn’t I go to Hyderabad?”
As
you know I am doing my dream job now as a web and graphics designer but when I
got the great offer from the company where I used to work as a freelancer I
couldn’t refuse at first. I know I used to make a good amount of money that
time. But that was not my ultimate career goal. If I would have decided to go
for that then it would be like ruining my entire plan for years. I have been
planning my career goals for years. And I am happy where I am today because it
was preplanned. And I know today where I want to see myself after a year or
five years or 10 years.
Topic no 3: “What were the advices that I gave to
the student?”
Priyanka
is a very energetic student of YST. The atmosphere of the classroom changes
with her appearance. She talks a lot. Also she likes to study human and their
emotions. She is from a very poor family where her mom works in other people’s
house and her father is a driver. She has one younger and one elder brother. But
if you talk with her you will feel the depth of knowledge and culture in her.
She has obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Geography.
The very first day of her class
in YST she asked me whether I can get her a job. That night I called her and
confirmed her job in a service center where she is currently working as a
computer operator. She also started a very interesting course for RJ (Radio
Jockey) in Kolkata recently. She tells me YST is very special for her because everything
interesting started in her life after YST. Even she got her partner after few
months of working in the service center. Both are very happy couple. She is
also very hard working girl. Every weekend she goes to Kolkata to take her RJ
classes and comes back on Sunday morning. And as you know it takes eight hours
journey from Malda to Kolkata by train or bus. And she travels in a general
class. Basically in general class nobody can sleep. It’s over crowed. Let me
explain you more specifically. She starts her journey to Kolkata on every
Friday night and reach there on Saturday morning. She does her class there on
Saturday and takes the train to Malda at night and reach here on Sunday
morning. So two nights almost no sleep and joins YST classes on Sunday morning.
Though she stopped coming at YST now a days because her body doesn’t allow her
to join YST on Sunday morning. That’s why to surprise her we wanted to pay her
a visit at her house.
It was
Sunday when with two of my students I went to watch a movie “Kedarnath”. After
the movie we decided to pay a visit to Priyanka. As I told you she is from a
poor family so she has small house where she lives with her family. She didn’t
expect us. She also felt little shy and uncomfortable because of her house may
be. Later at night she replied in FB messenger,
Priyanka:
Valo laglo aslen...vebechhilsm bari thik krle dakbo sobai k... 😊
[It felt so good that you came… I thought after repairing the house I will call everyone.]

Topic no 4: “How I am financially helping the
single woman with three daughters?”
I
am not financially helping her. I am teaching her how she can apply her talent
in the right way to earn more money and support her daughters. Her father is a
serviceman and he earns good salary. But she is doing everything of her own. After
her husband’s death she took the decision to keep all her three daughters to
herself after a long fight against her husband’s family members. She is a brave
woman.
I have promised her I will help
her to grow her business through online. She is an excellent tailor. I will be
working to get her recognized for her works so that her products get sells
online. You can see her work at
blogrator.com/rohima-boutique/
I have no word to describe u sir...u r really very nice person. .stay blessed. ☺
ReplyDeleteI am glad, Priyanka.
